Isomac
Super Giada
The Supergiada
semi-automatic espresso machine may be the baby of the Isomac family,
but it’s still an overachiever like its bigger brothers and
sisters. Just by looking at it, you can tell it’s part of
the same family, with its sharp polished stainless steel housing,
minimalist controls, and Isomac’s signature pressure gauge
and cup rail. In fact, there isn't a machine on the market in this
price range that offers as much in terms of quality of build, performance,
and appearance.
Compact, but powerful, the Supergiada has what it takes to get the
job done in any home. Inside you’ll find solid brass plumbing
and fittings, a 0.2 liter brass boiler powered by a muscular self-priming
vibration pump and fed by a big, 3-liter removable reservoir. The
brass brew group is manned by a 3-way solenoid switch and topped
off by the most solid portafilter in its class. Made of chrome-plated
marine grade brass, this 53mm portafilter is a heavy weight, built
to ensure temperature stability until the moment the brewing process
is complete. And don’t let it’s odd size alarm you,
because Isomac has added a built-in tamper on the front of the Supergiada
that’s custom sized to that portafilter for a perfect tamp
every time.
When you face
the Supergiada, you will first be taken aback by its gleaming good
looks, due in part to its stunning stainless steel housing, and
the fact that the controls are blended seamless into its design
as to not overpower it. Three simple toggle switches with corresponding
indicator lights are all you get – and all you need –
to operate this little beauty. The tamper is neatly tucked into
the left side, while on the right you’ll find the stainless
steel steam wand that also doubles as a hot water dispenser.
The Supergiada
comes complete with a portafilter and two stainless steel filter
baskets for making either single or double shots of espresso, a
built-in coffee tamper, a 7-gram measuring spoon, and detailed instruction
manual. |
